WHAT COLOR IS THE TIN

The Ordinary Joys of New York tin is a deep navy. Depending on the lighting, it can look slightly lighter or darker.

The best way to reach us is by email at hello@ordinaryjoys.com. We’re a small team and do not have an active phone line at this time.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT AN EMAIL RESPONSE FROM YOUR TEAM

Our team is available via email on Monday to Friday from 9AM - 5pm EST and we try to respond as quickly as possible. We are closed on weekends and national holidays and will respond the following business day. We are a small team so thank you for being patient with us.

WHAT IS A PRE-ORDER AND WHEN WILL I RECEIVE IT

We offer a pre-order option to guarantee your order in the next available shipment. The shipping window is stated on the product page.

Please note that the shipping window is a best estimate from our manufacturing partners and there may be unforeseen delays. You will be notified if there is a delay with your pre-order. 

WHEN WILL I BE CHARGED FOR MY PRE-ORDER

Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase. A pre-order guarantees that you will receive an item in the next available shipping window. The estimated shipping window is stated on the product page.

WHERE IS MY ORDER

You will receive an email with your tracking information once your order has shipped. If you have not yet received a tracking email, your order is being processed and prepared for shipment.

SHIPPING TIMELINE

Please note that we are currently only offering pre-orders to be shipped in early to mid December. Orders will be processed as quickly as possible and timelines are dependent on your location. If there is a delay in any processing, we will reach out to you.

Shipping timelines depend on your location. Please check that all of your shipping details are entered correctly. Changes to a delivery address are not possible once a shipment is processed. Ordinary Joys is not responsible or liable for lost or damaged shipments once they are picked up by the carrier. Please use the tracking information sent to you. If you cannot find a package that has been confirmed as delivered, please contact the carrier directly.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are excited to offer international shipping! International shipments are shipped via DHL Express. International customers are responsible for all duty and taxes associated with the importation of merchandise. Ordinary Joys is not responsible for import duties and taxes associated with any international orders.

Please note: International orders are subject to be flagged in customs for collection of duties and tax on imports. In this scenario, shipping time can be significantly delayed and in some cases the customer is required to retrieve their package from the customs office.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

At this time, all pre-orders are "final sale." All "final sale" items are not eligible for return, refund, or store credit. Thank you for supporting us as a small and growing business!

LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS

While we hope that everything goes smoothly, once we hand over an order to the appropriate shipping carrier, we are not liable for delays or loss.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES: Ordinary Joys is not responsible for packages shipped to addresses that were entered incorrectly at checkout. If your package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you for an address correction. If additional shipping is required we will create a shipping invoice.


LOST: Be sure to check everywhere, and ask neighbors. If you cannot find your package after receiving your delivery confirmation, please contact the carrier directly for assistance.
